The Bones of St. Andral are sacred relics of immense power. St. Andral was an ancient saint who fought against darkness and evil. His bones, preserved for generations, are the source of the protective wards that safeguard St. Andral's Church in Vallaki.

When the bones are present in the church, they empower wards that protect against undead and evil creatures. Their power prevents Strahd's servants from entering the church—a significant protection in a cursed land.

The bones were stolen by Milivoj, an agent working toward unknown ends. Their absence weakened the church's defenses and left Vallaki vulnerable.

History

The Bones have been housed in St. Andral's Church for centuries, a symbol of divine presence in Barovia. They represent the last bastion of uncorrupted faith in the land.

During Sessions 09-13, the party investigated their theft and tracked them to Milivoj. In Session 14, they recovered the bones and returned them to the church, restoring the protective wards.
