A silvered battleaxe named and rune-stamped by a cantankerous dwarf blacksmith after losing an arm-wrestling match to its owner.
Description
Ria's battleaxe, silvered at Cromack Smithing in Daggerford during Session 01. Tholvar Cragjaw silvered the blade for 50 gold after Ria won an arm-wrestling wager, then named the weapon in Dwarven: Hibil Nadruk — Silver Night Cleaver. The blade is stamped with runes reading Kabeel Naldrak.
The silvering is practical — effective against lycanthropes and other creatures vulnerable to silver — but the naming turned it from a tool into a piece of campaign history.
Acquisition
The party could not afford the standard 200gp silvering price. Tholvar offered an arm-wrestling wager: if Ria won, 50gp; if he won, everything in her pockets plus 25gp from each party member. Daisy's social interference and Ria's strength carried the day — Tholvar's elbow slipped and he toppled off his stool. From beneath the counter: "Worth it."
